Bridgeport Explorer I CNC with DX32 control

Please help me solve what is probably a simple problem.

I have picked up and set X zero and Y zero. Using the "Move To" feature with the coordinates X-6.0 and Y4.0 the machine only moves a few hundred thousandths from the zero point. However, the display reads X-6.0 and Y4.0 which isn't the correct location. When I use the "Move To" feature from this point back to X0.0 and Y0.0 it moves to X0.0 and Y0.0. The only thing that I've noticed that seems out of line is Z has a value of 62.389 in the register. I'm not that familiar with this machine so it could be anything. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes!

Jog the table and make sure it is counting correctly first.
See if it can get to where you want to go displaying the correct position.

Bridgeport Explorer I DX-32 Control

George:

I may have had the control in the Metric Mode. Things went a little better today, but I'm still struggling trying to create a inside circular program. I'll have more questions tomorrow.

Many Thanks for your help!

Bob

Imperial /metric

I use a 1995 Torque22 with DX32 control and this is how it is done :
Go to the run screen, push key #7 for options then key #7 again for metric.
Hope this helps,
Dick

Bob,
I run a TC2 and had a Torq Cut 30 both DX32 controls.Remember not all canned cycles fit every job . Alittle extra time to write your own program lets you do things the way you would like to.Hang in there it gets easier.
