FYI, there is a dedicated bridgeport forum here:

http://www.cnczone.com/forums/bridgeport_hardinge_mills/

It looks like a retrofitted Series 1 BOSS mill. I have one at home but I can't tell you how tall it is. I think 89" will be cutting it pretty close. Maybe someone on the bridgeport forum knows offhand. There are a lot of guys over there with similar machines.

Series 1 height

Hello there yes it is a series 1 with a modification to the origonal control the specification sheet does state overall height 89" but I have physiclly measured mine and it is 86 1/2" to the top of the spindle bearing cover. You may have one problem if you have to remove the head to get the machine into your workshop in that you have to tilt the head to get the base of the motor into the swan neck casting.
And the correct lifting place to lift the head square is a plate on the top of the spindle bearing plate, and the head weighs in at about 350LBs, I am taking the head off mine and have a similar problem with height so I am looking to make a plate to bolt on the front cover that is covering the limit switches and lift it with an engine crane with a eyebolt and D link, it is not feasible to strip down the head as you need head height to reassemble.
Hope this helps Cheers Colin
