Bridgeport/Romi lathe setup file blew up...

My friends Romi lathe's ( EZ PATH I -97 ) blew it's harddrive and there was also setup file.

I got from BPT-parts install disks and DOM ( disk-on-module ) and there was no problems to install EZ-path. But now machine is moaning "Guard not place" if try start spindle. Both safety relays and their both channels are ON stage, but still not working... WTF?

I think there was some parameters what that install couldn't set. Our manual have some missing pages and guess are those missing pages exactly for parameters...

So if anyone have Romi lathe, please, please make copy that setup file, so we can compare what is problem... Here's machine last parameters ( first 150 are quite boring and we don't think there is any problem ), I hope somebody can solve this problem...

By to way, this machine have European safety accessories, I think there is probally some differences with USA version.

Regards,
Johannes

What version of software are you using?
Sounds like a new version meant for a CIB (control in a box) machine.
Older software should have asked you if you had a EZPATH 1 or 2 and loaded the correct parameter file.
Newer software requires you to run a parameter set up disk that will ask questions about the type of spindle, chuck, hydraulics, bar feede, tail stock, etc.
If you know DOS you can get to PFM.exe and go through each parameter and look for the option parameters and GPAUF set up which will have that switch that does not exist.
But you probably have a AUF, not a GPAUF. They may have sent you the wrong software.
