| Did some research over the last couple of days. There are cheap thrust bearings ( $20.00 - $40.00 range ) , good for General Purpose applications and there are High Precision ones ( $300.00 - $500.00 range ) for precision applications like Milling Machine Thrust Bearings. So, the cost to build our own is now about $800.00! The good news is, there is a guy on eBay (seller name is partsman06460 ) and he has NEW replacement bearings for $555.00 Hope this helps someone else sometime..... JH |
