I got a V2E3 in great shape last week with the intentions of using the parts from my previous BP retrofit on it. The old mill ways were real bad and not worth the cost to repair. It was a stepper system. I trashed the original plan and am now going to reuse the original servos on the V2E3 and the power supply from the machine with new servo drives and mach control. The v2e3 was a running machine that was taken out of service by a close friend who bought it new. He reported no problems with the machine when it was taken out of service and replaced with newer machines. I have all the boss 8 boards available which I plan sell eventually but figured I would mention it here in case anyone needs any. I will be doing a build post on the new retrofit in the near future.  |
