I have just replaced the 486DX motherboard in my Bridgeport EZ-Trac and purchased a new 256mg Disk on Module preloaded with ver 3.8 software It starts to load doing a countdown BMDC-19 down to BMDC-0. The next message is: "Reading Param File" followed by message: "System Error - Possible Pointer Error. Then it gets ugly. Last message reads: "GP Fault - Fatal Error - The software will try to exit to clear the error" A this point the hitting enter repeats the previous steps and errors in a loop. The bios has no LBA or cashe memory on exit settings. Is this a common problem with a fix? Thank, Rick |

| Any time a BMDC counts down to zero, it did not load. High probability the BMDC might be bad. Clean the edge connector with a soft eraser. Check your logic power supply General protection faults come from the mother board. Did you set the CMOS for the DOM? George
