| "GEAR CHANGE SPEED CREEP FAILURE" is the msg i get. it happened when changing from the high gear to the low. anyone know how I can reset the machine? I have tried the High and Low gear solonoid resets, as well as the shift pin solonoid resets. Also tried the ol' shut down/restart. My spindle turns by Hand... but I don't think its in gear. Any advice? |

| What control? I have never encountered that alarm. Most common is a time out error. With a DX control and Yaskawa spindle drive, the spindle hunts back and forth as the gear change rotor air motor tries to engage the gear called for. Did it hunt? Or does this alarm indicate that it did not hunt? I have moved a spindle by hand (with the machine off) while a second person activated by hand the shot pin (so it retracts) and at the same time either the high or low gear solenoid. It should go in. Next question is if everything is working as it should. George
