backing up parameters

Hi can somebody tell me how i go about backing up my machine parameters to my pc.
I have a interact 1 mk 2 with a heidenhain tnc2500 controller and run tnc remo software.
i wish to back them up as i have just been caught out on another machine a fanuc wire eroder which i had not backed up and now know what a pain it is to lose them.

not sure on that exact control[manual on heidenhain.com] but 95148 and ext is a start.

press Mode until u get into Code Number: . Key in 95148, enter, prepare ur dnc linking, press the button EXT to send them all into ur pc. Thats all u need for parameter backup.
