I measure .002 deflection at the knee when I run the Y axis between its full range. I tightened the gibs to the point where I could barely move the knee up and down the column, and measured the deflection to be the same (I loosened it after). I have also fully locked the column locks and again no difference. Is this deflection typical? Is there a solution? I have searched the forums for this topic and only found a post where someone suggested locking the column locks... |

| I think I found the problem. I just discovered there is a gib on both sides of the column for the ways that support that motion. I tightened both, and also fully locked the locks and now only measure .001"... Still seems high, but better. |
