| You need software such as PROCOMM, and the correct cable. There used to be a package of this on EBAY. Communication also enables a very powerful editor. George

| Thanks George, I ordered a BOB from Hillbilly. When I bought the mill the owner told me he programmed in notepad and then sent the G code to the mill. I couldn't figure out how that worked. Now I can use Mach 3. I did get my wiring nightmare figured out, I am running the motor and servos on three phase through a VFD and the controls are running on single phase. Took awhile to get all of the wiring figured out, but I was able to use all of the original controls. Hopefully soon I will be able to make some parts. |
