| Hello all I have a BP running 4 axis with Mach 3. I need to be able to have some kind of spindle sensor so that if the spindle shuts down....the Mach 3 prog will quit or error out. My machines are over 30 years old and stuff happens. It has happened 4 times so far and I spoil a cam when I does. If I had a sensor that said or detected that the spindle has or is slowing down,,, the program would stop or error out. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance

| What shuts the spindle down? How is it controlled? If it is a contactor overload trip, there is often a spare contact on the O/L. If it is VFD, then there should be an alarm output. Al.
