Bridgeport DX-32 control parts

I have never expereinced the difficultly loggin on to any site as I have with this one. I am certain I am doing something wrong, but how hard is it to enter a user name and password, but continiually I cannot get in.

I have a Bridgeport DX-32 complete control which is low- no hours of use. It was physically damaged in shipment and never ran after that. I powered the control up, the CRT was damaged, with another monitor but it has lost its parameters or the DOS start information. As it is all apart and half of the limits are open of course it will not do anything. The control parts are clean, and the drive amplifier cards have illuminated red and green LED's. I have everything, the complete control cabinet, axis motors, with the exception of the iron, table, and ballscrews. I purchased it for the spindle, but have taken another route so have a complete head also.
If anyone has interest in any of the parts, I suppose I will put them on ebay, but you try to let me know if I can get back in to check for messages. I am not a fan of selling stuff on ebay.
Thanks

Just saw the date on this!! Guess I got all excited!!

I'm interested in the boards if they're ok.
I have a DX as well and spare parts would be a good thing.
Mine is a 486 SX processor. Left ya a pic. There's heat sink
over the Processor

Thanks,
Richard

DX Parts

Well I'm not sure which DX it is.
I'm having some issues and so far it seems it may be the mother board.
I've posted some pics in another post but here's a pi of the board.
There's a heat sink that's covering the processor to the left of the

Bridgeport DX 32

You are welcome to call me 713-628-1353 to determine if the machine has the same motherboard. I have pretty much everything for this machine, I have sold the PLC board and one motor. This control was removed from a working machine with almost zero hours but was damaged in shipment, and never run after the damage. It was a shame.

I'm in the Los Angeles area so prob a few hours hours behind you.
A little extra info :
My machine was bought in '95
The manual I got for it was for a SX not DX. And I never as given a replacement from the company I bought it from.

Looking forward to talking to you

What machine do you have, there are different DX controls, the boards are not all the same, it just depends on what your machine is & how old

I just saw the date 1995 what model machine

EZ Trak

I'm going to have to check that label to get exact information.
From what I've been seeing and reading BP must had a different board
every year.

What I can tell you right now is it's a 2 axis BP Ez Trak DX with a
486 SX processor. There is a paper tag on the board that reads 31944033.
The Pic named "Motherboard" has the processor hidden by a heat sink.
(this model had an overheating problem solved by this and a larger Air filter)
Blue & purple reset wires cross it.

"3 Boards" shows the boards attached to the MB. Right to left are the video card, the Hard drive and floppy card, and the last well I'm not sure.

Other than the CRT replaced with an LCD & and the back up battery replaced last year, never had a problem.

Finally "FU 14" shows a part I assume is a fuse. But as far as I can tell
unlike the others. Any idea what this is?

Alrighty, till I get back to the shop that's all I got.

Thank you all
Richard

Your control is a DX the SX you have to start the machine each time with/from the floppy drive,

The Board that you don't know what it is, you should because it is what runs your machine It is called a BMDC board, This is the heart of your machine

Do you still have the head? I have a '97 with almost twenty thousand hours on it and it is getting tired. I don't know if they are compatible but if they are, and you still have it, I'd like to talk to you about it.

Cheers,
Dan
