BP Series 2 Pneumatic Question

This picture is of the Lube and Pneumatic cabinet on our BP Series 2. When we purchased it the air lines coming out of the lowest solenoid were capped and after reviewing our manuals I'm still clueless as to their purpose. Does anyone know what they were for?
