i have a v2xt bridgeport 1992 model with ez mill program on a separate computer. it is out of date .. what is the cheapest way to update the machine to run some faster cad programs. as for which one i do not know.. the machine is like new and never cut steel or aluminum had a dust collector on it and cut foam. so thew ways are mint and look new.. i have no experience with cnc, at all. what are my guts worth ? do i replace everything? thanks for the help.. jason |

| There is a V2XT user group on Yahoo Groups. Usually owners belong to both of these sites. There are a lot of files that you can download there. There are 2 basic V2XT machines. Those with a FMDC and those with a BMDC. A world of difference. If you have the BMDC verion, you can get a newer motherboard but are limited in speed due to communication of the mother board to the BMDC. The software runs in DOS. A lot of these machines are still doing good work. EZ-MILL is a part of EZ-CAM. Google it. Yes it is old. There is a lot better out there such as Feature Cam. Google that. But it is expensive. George
