I have a 1990'ish Bridgeport 3 axis milling machine, and I keep receiving a Buffer Overflow error when loading files from my 3.5 floppy drive to my PC. The machine is stand alone, meaning no network access. The machine seems to choke on anything greater than 170KB. Creating a mess when turning one program into 5. I have deleted out all old programs. Is there a way I can clear the cache? It's running on DOS 6.0. |

http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80418 If this is an EZtrak. It should run a 170k program. Any program over 256K you will have to Drip Feed. Try drip feeding it when you get the alarm and see if that works. Try the above thread. There is a reply that I posted about drip feeding with pictures of the screens. Hope this helps.
