Could someone explain to me the full purpose of the drawbar proximity sensor on the series 2 interact 4 and the method in which it is used ? The maintainence manual talks about it preventing the spindle starting with an incorectly engaged tool. But what does this mean? It even suggests to intentionally incorrectly engage a tool as a means of testing correct operation of the sensor. What I would like to know is how to incorrectly engage a tool for the purpose of this test? From my experience so far a tool is either locked in or not held at all. I have failed to some accross an inbetween state of held in but not quite proper.
