Hello everyone, I have a Bridgeport R2E4 that recently blew fuse #16. I replaced the fuse, and it immediately blew again. I think I have a short somewhere, but don't quite know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx. |

| Fuse 16 will blow if there is a problem with the drive power supply. I do not have a schematic for that with me. If your maintenance manual does, look at it. My first thought is a shorted diode or capacitor. George

| I found some notes indicating that you need to check Bridge rectifier BR2. George

| George, Thanks for the reply. I tried replacing the bridge rectifier with one from my spare machine, but to no avail. I also checked the reisitance of the resistor in that circuit, and that was fine. Any other advice? I do have the bridgeport manual... |
