post modification question

hello, i tried to obtain a post for a boss dx/32 controller. i received a "prototrak" post which looks very much like a default mill post. it is completely wrong for this control so i am trying to modify it. i fixed a couple of things but right now i am trying to get it to append a period (".") to the end of any X, Y, Z, I, J, K, A, or R. first i tried changing the format statements but that didn't work at all. after that i tried to modify the functions that output the co-ordinates. these files lack a familiar structure so any help would be greatly appreciated.
