VMC 760 ELCTRONIC PARTS FORSALE

I am posting this in the Bridgeport section so guys will see it. Most of the time people are not looking for these parts but buy them when they see them for a good deal.

All parts are off a working 1994 Bridgeport VMC 760/16 Machining Center. I would bet all the parts would work on a VMC 500 or VMC 100 from the same era.

This is what i have

-Heidenhain TNC 2500B Main control board
-(2) Heidenhain TNC 2500B Monitors
-Heidenhain TNC 2500B Button Panel
-Siemens Simodrive power supply module
-Siemens AC Spindle drive
-(3) Siemens AC servo drives

These are all very expensive parts to replace/repair. The servo drives alone are 1600 each to get fixed if you have one go down in your machine.

These parts are coming out of a low our machine that was purchased with the idea to do a retrofit.

If it a low hour machine why not just run it and make money? That is a more sophisticated control than most of the aftermarket stuff

This machine is for my personal use. Its only a 3 axis control.....it would cost thousands of dollars to make it a 4 axis and i really want to run 5 axis on it. I have a cylinder head porting table for it. going with camsoft.

The tnc2500 control does not have enough memory to do what i want. Drip feeding is too slow for me.

I have a 760-22 3 axis and a Millport 5 axis(for porting) I'm curious as to how your going to deal with the short Z travel on the 760 for cylinder head porting

Pm me some prices on the Siemens stuff

Im only going to port 4 stroke motorcycle heads and such. Wont need a long Z travel for that. too many players in the car head business.

The control parts might already be sold. I will get back to you on prices
