Can anyone tell me what the capabilities are with the Boss 8 controller. What are the limitations, can it do 3 axis surfacing etc. I am looking at a machine for a possible retrofit, but if I can get by with the boss 8 controller for a little while it would be helpful. Thanks  |

Memory size would be the bigest proublem with large program's you can DNC and also louping help's I'v been using a Boss7.2 for five year's now tool changer and loading program from PC via RS32 did a lot of work loading in MDI very time consuming but work's If you haven't bought a machine P.M. me I have an extra 7.2 series1 and lot's of tooling I'm looking at a biger machine also may know of two series II BTC's Good luck Kevin |
