I have the same question about the gear box oil. how do you check the oil/add oil? I do a lot of long 3D programs in my TC-22. I dont want to burn something up. who here is the Torq-cut pro?
Thanks
TJ
I have been running the TC-22 for a few months now and am very pleased with the machine.
It has been running great so far.(knock on wood)
Most of what I have been doing is just 1-4 parts that I just did manually or writing small programs just getting them done.
Haven,t bothered with the tool changer or tapping.
Last night I had 8 parts that had drilling, tapping, counter boring plus 3 different size holes.
They fit in a 3-jaw chuck I clamped to my table that made setups quick.
I set up the tools and set tool lenghts then started the first part.
What a time saver running a part.
The machine is great for the items I machine so far.
I only did 1 part last night but will run the others today.
I need to do some overall maintance on the mill and don,t understand the manual when it refers to gear box oil(shc 626 ep) as to where it goes.
I know the Vac 2 goes in the Bijur unit, velocite 6 or DTE in the air mist but can,t see where to check or fill the gearbox.
What else needs addressed?
Need to get some coolant and replenish my tapping oil.
Also I have lloked for the shc 626 ep but cant fins a supplier.
Mcmaster .Msc and Grainger don,t list it.
Starting to watch for a Cnc lathe,I want a Bridgeport Romi, what is the best model for the money and what is can you expect to pay for a decent machine.
Thanks to all for the advice thru the purchasing and getting the TC-22 up and running.

Some tc22 had a gearbox, some did not. If you have the gear box there is a sight glass on it.
