Hi everyone,Im looking for a good design on a z axis for my vertical j head bridgeport mill.Or if anyone has any ideas that would be great also.

Go to google.com/patents, and search on "Elrod". You'll find the patents covering the Elrod quill drive, which is very good. I'm basically copying that.
