    Exclamation Bridgeport CNC1

I have a Bridgeport CNC1 Mill that I got at a auction, and it is just taking up space in my shop. We have got more and more mill work as of lately, and I want to update the mills CNC system. I want to change the control out , but I want to keep my stepper motor drives. What do you all recommend. It needs to be accurate, reliable, and affordable.

What control system is on that mill?
Are you sure that its a stepper system?
Ive done a couple of Bridgeport retrofits.
Not sure that I would bother with a stepper based machine.

    Need more info

    Boss 3 Control.

    Yes

We were looking at a flashcut CNC retrofit, keeping our stepper drives, because the price rung up to 4K w/ the steppers, and 9k with a servo conversion. We don't think that the mill itself is worth spending that much money on.
