Hi There,
I have an old Horizontal Bridgeport machine with power feed. The machine was made in Leichester England and the sequence control panel was built by Saunders Electronics Limited.
The X-axis limit switch box was connected wrongly, therefore the machine won't come on. There are 11 wires that I do not know where to put - wires are numbered as follows:
185, 186, 187, 188, 189, 190, 56, 20, 11, 12, 159, 17
I opened the y-axis and z-axis limit switch boxes and wires were connected as follows:
Y-axis:
21-20 normally closed - Hard limit
51-50 normally closed
50-41 normally closed
Z-axis:
21-22 normally closed - Hard limit
51-52 normally closed
52-46 normally closed
I assume that the x-axis should be :
185-186 normally closed
187-188 normally closed
189-190 normally closed
wires 17 and 159 is connected to the emergency stop (17 comes from the machine and does not connect to the limit switch box - where 159 has to connect there somewhere.
The emergency stop switch is normally closed and when I activate the contactor it has 110V to ground.
When the contactor is activated 185-186 has 110V to ground.
This leaves me with wires"
56
20
11
12
159
Could you please help me....I need this machine running.
Kind Regards.
John
