..... AND SAME ERROR: AXIS DOUBLE PROGRAMMED. LOOKS LIKE CODE 358 BUT HARD TO READ..... WHAT A NUB! I KNEW THE DOUBLE AXIS WAS USUALLY A PROGRAM ERROR TRYING TO GO TO Y 1.4 , Y 2.3 FOR EXAMPLE BUT THIS ERROR DIDN'T STOP AT THE BAD LINE, BUT A FEW BEFORE IT. PERHAPS THE ERROR "CODE" WAS ACTUALLY THE LINE NUMBER? THANKS FOR KEEPING THE WISE CRACKS TO A RESPECTABLE MINIMUM! Last edited by hmc710; 12-17-2008 at 03:58 PM.  |

Thanks for the reply Gus, I appreciate it. You are correct! By the way, could you help me get this thing hooked up to a pc so I can off line edit programs? I've tried a number of different cables and programs from Heidenhain and other DNC's and have not had any success. Thanks for any help you can point me to. |
