BOSS 6 control probs

Have my BRPT Series II mill hooked to computer and it has been running fine for years. Well OK....I have changed some transistors on her.
Today I was running a short program (maybe 8 lines) that ran 50 plus times. Then all at once when I push the start button I get nothing.......well at least not what I would like to happen. It now shows the Run/Hold/Wait lights all at the same time when I push start and I get no movement on any axis. When I click to restart it clears the lights but then when I push start/continue the same lights happen again with no movement. Switch over to "set-up" all three axis move fine. Switch over to MDI and it will move with a rapid GO command but nothing with a G1 and feedrate when I hit the EOB button. Shut it all down and ate supper....came back, started the machine back up and it ran one cycle fine and then the same thing. Need to get back up and running ASAP.
Any and all help greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your support.

EDIT/UPDATE......After messing around with "her" (the BPRT!) some.....I popped the hold button a couple times and hit restart to clear it and it ran through a couple cycles OK.....then the same thing happened except sometimes just the Run and Wait lights come on and not the hold light but still won't get movement. Even tried the clear/reset switch around by the old tape box. Could the spring in the "Hold" button be getting weak and tripping itself? It seems to have good pop and comes all the way back out solid. Also I did get it to move under MDI feedrate commands a few times also after popping the hold button also. I never use the hold button when a program is running because that's what had me changing out transistors before... so I swore off on it. It still won't run everytime unless I mess with the hold button and hit restart a few times after every time it cycles. Pain in the .......Any ideas?
What really has me miffed is it was running fine all day and now this......

2nd EDIT/Update....After continued doinking around with it I've determined that it had/has something to do with the hold button. After giving the hold button a few good pops and hitting restart 5-6 times it has run continually for another 20 cycles without incident.
This is kind of weird that it was running fine all day and I had never touched the hold button all day until it started acting up.
Is there anyway to clean and/or maybe put a stronger spring in the hold button?

Come back today and started the mill up and it has run the same program flawlessly all mourning.
Something in the "hold" button that decided to give me fits yesterday.
I treat her nice...feed her the finest way oil money can buy and never cuss at her and then to be treated like this. Attention seeking, I believe, possibly just to get a better Christmas out of me this year!
