Hi all, I have a bridgeport interact series 1 with a 145 heidenhain controller. After setting up all 3 axis, gain, offset etc. The machine ran fine all weekend, it was then powered down. Upon return on monday morning, when trying to reference the machine runs away in a positive direction. Even if its on the dogs instead of moving away and then referencing all axis shoot off in the positive direction. After a fashion I managed to get machine to ref. But if i select any axis and touch the joystick or mpg the relevent axis runs away in a positive direction. Any help much apprieciated. |

| A axis will run away in all 3 axis if the control does not see it move. In other words I believe that the encoders are not being seen by the control. First thought: 5 VDC to the encoder bulbs is not there. 2nd thought: control sick. George
