Series One Y axis Problem

I have finally found the time to start working on my Series One project again. Here is where it stands my Y axis will not jog. I removed the Acc board and removed all of the transistors and check them and they all checked out OK, I reinstalled them and now my X axis readout changes when I jog but the axis does not move, I then flipped the Acc board and now both X and Z jog just fine.
I expected to find that the z would not work correctly so now I am really confused.
Just for fun I wired the Y axis motor to the X axis to make sure I do not have a Y axis motor problem and it turns out that the motor worked just fine being controlled by the X axis.

Plan of attack, I think I am going to replace all of the transistors on the Acc board so I know that they are in fact all good and strong, the other thing I have read is to replace the screw in fuse holders with the snap in style so I will probably do that as well.

Please let me know if I am headed in the right direction.

Thanks in advance Scott

With a 99% frequency, the problem is/are the final drive transistors, not the ACC board trannsistors. The ACC regulates the current through each drive with the saturable core reactors.
The usual transistors to blow are on pieces of aluminum with the transistor cans facing the door. There are 3 of these, Each holding 4 transistors.

PS I will find my final drive transistors tonight.

Question

Ok I found the final drive transistors for the Y axis, now I need to bring them to work to test them. If they are bad is there a replacment transistor and diode that would be more reliable?
