Need Help!- Serieis 1 Interact 2 Heidenhain tnc 151

Hi I'm newbie here and bought a used 1986 interact mill powers up clear power interrupted put in manual press and hold power enable and cycle start all axis move to reference and I can move y axis and Z axis but the x axis will not move in manual joy stick or hand wheel it will move + small amount and not - off limit switch gives a x- limits . like I said new to this machine and looking for some help .

You may have a bad parameter for the X travel limit.
Do you have the parameter list?

Yes I was reading the manual last night and found X limits setting paramter 44 45 will try this and see .

Also check this. Press the MOD key, then use the arrows to scroll through the menu. One of those is user definable travel limits. That may be part of the problem.

Hi Machintek thanks for the help i got machine making chips one more question I set paramter 225 to 12 to have a tool comp libary but it is in mm can i change this to inch the dro is in inch but the tool libary says mm is there a paramter to set this in inch.
