Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me find what board and the location of the board is that has BR2 on it. I found it on the schematic but have no idea the location of it. Machine is a Bridgeport Series I with the boss 4 control Thanks Scott |

| Would BR2 be a bridge rectifier? I know where a few are mounted. On a heatsink behind the capacitors that are just beneath the tape reader. to get to those, i remove the tape reader, Remove the screws that hold the capacitor chassis and slide that forward to reveal the heat sink. remove the heat sink screws and you will see the bridge rectifiers. I know that the X, Y, and Z axis bridge rectifiers are here. i do not remember if the 54V bridge is here too. George

| Thnk you George I did finally find the four you are talking about and they all check out ok. I now have to locate and test r4 (resistor?) and c2 (capacitor?) as well as output from T7 which I believe is behind the heat sink where the bridge rectifier's are. I have no electronic experiance and was scared as hell to dive into this thing but it is not as bad as I thought. Thank you for your help Scott |
