    1997 Bridgeport VMC800 DX32

    Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows if a memory card reader could be installed to this controller. I would like to find a more simple way to load and store back up programs. All my programs now are installed by the floppy drive.

    Thanks,
    pbrtoolmaker

The installation of Win 98 solves some problems and creates others. First, the HDD for the DX32 system has to be only 504mb in size, This was the BPT standard in the day that the DX32 was created.

The way I'd do it is to install a larger drive, Format it so C is 504mb and then partition the rest out as you see fit. Load DOS/BMDC O/S onto C and Win 98 on D.

YOU can then store as you see fit on the other drives you format/partition. If you do this, you'd better learn how to toggle into and out of DOS and/or your machine's BMDC program. This may not be viable with a CIB but can be done with a PC based system.
