Have just had the y axis motor off on an Interact 1 Mk2 and now on startup referencing the y axis flies off at a full speed traverse and trips out. I have turned the drive pully 180 degrees and put power back on so it now doesn't trip but still moves at full spedd no matter what the feed rate knob is set at. I can't get past the referencing screen to change reference dog settings and handwheel mode doesn't seem to work with power button depressed. Any ideas? |

| High probability of a velocity loop problem. Make sure your tach connections are good and not reversed. George

| Thanks guys! I've checked tacho connections and there is only one way the connector can go on so that should be fine. The motor connections should have gone back the way they came out, I did a wiring diagram and everything ![]() There is always a chance that I have put a wire in the wrong place. Which wires are likely to be the wrong way round? Kev |
