Problem with a KTK drive

I am having an issue with the KTK drive on my Bridgeport Interact 1 Mk 2. From a cold start, the program will start up the spindle and run the job just fine, but when the spindle stops for a tool change, it will just spin down to a stop, not the quick stop that I am used to. The brake does not engauge and the program hangs.

If I look at the KTK board, LEDs 5,8 and 9 are lit up along with the ins trip LED. The display reads 00 and LEDs 2 & 3 are off. If I hit the reset button, the ins trip LED goes off and LED 3 turns on and I can reload the program and restart the spindle.

Any thoughts on what is going wrong and what I can do to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Paul
