good luck . i have a similar post and nothing . what control are you running ? if i hear anything i`ll let you know . i am tempted to buy one and roll the dice , but your correct , it is a bit much to spend on a hope its the correct unit .
I did an earlier post about my problem and just spoke with PhaseTec. they said getting a voltage stabilizer most likely wouldn't work and suggested getting their digital phase converter, but at $2770, that's just a little out of my reach for a small, very small one man shop doing milling on a part time basis. Can anyone give me any suggestions???

Mag,
that was a very old post and I never did get the digital phase converter, after talking with several engineers. I was using a rotary 15HP converter and after much research decided to purchase a power conditioner. the problem I was having was fluctuating 220 volts. I managed to find a powder conditioner out of a lab in California. What it does is monitor the incoming 220v and chops off high and low spikes and noise. After I started using it my problems disappeared.
Now since that time I no longer do CNC machining as my machine bit the dust and after spending over $5K and needing another $2500 to fix it, I decided that business just didn't warrant spending the additional funds. I still have the power conditioner, which I paid $800. If your interested I'd sell it for $400 + shipping. Now this unit is pretty heavy, around 200 lbs. If I remember correctly it cost me around $250 to have it shipped. I live in Johnstown, PA. 15902.
let me know if interested. if you have any questions you can call me on my cell 814-243-1673.
