Hi all, About to commit buying our first CNC machine for plastic mold manufacturing. Presently using only conventional machines. We are strongly looking at the XV710 but I am not sure about the controller options selected. All the Bridgeport literature says about the controller is that it is the 0i series. Questions: a. As there are 4 options available on the 0i (mate, 7in, 8in, 10in), what is the most suitable for mold manufacturing? b. Does anyone know what the xv710 standard controller is? c. What options should we order the controller with? As the machine will be used for mold manufacturing, what are the relavant options offered by Bridgeport? d. What other non-controller options are recommended? Any other useful information on the xv710 and the controller will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.  |
