"exactly' what does the machine say?
Hi my machine was working lovely till i have a visit yesterday from a pair of so called electricians who had come to run new cabeling for a new moulding machine that the company has brought.
any way they managed to short across the main feeds on the distribution board and after tyhe biggest bang you have ever heard and loads of sparks that would put any arc welder to shame the 400 amps per phase fused finally blow.
when they where replaced i have been left with a workshop of knackered machines.
none of the pcs will show any sign of life despite having been plugged into surge protectors.
the problem with the intereact is that then i turn it on when it gets to the traverese the ref points part for the varies axises when i press the button for the first time which should the do the z axis nothing moves and the screen says i have a x axis fault???
anyone got any ideas what parts need replacing???
also does anyone know of a way of disposing with a couple of electricians bodys with out a trace... he he.
on a serious note if you have any ides what these clowns might have blown please please help me.
Hope the electricians have insurance.

Even surge protectors can only absorb a given amount of energy.
Are any of the green LED lit on the BOSCH drive boards? 2 are lit before homing, 4 after homing.
Check circuit breakers.

Hi guys i think i got away light (well as far as the interact goes anyway) upon close inspection one of the driver boards was not lite so i sent it way and got it back today from repair and popped it in and the machine is up and running.
and all for the bargain sum of £200 sterling,
i now have the wire eroder, spark eroders and every thing else up and running all except for the pcs and i am expecting replacement units in to replace them tomorrow, that just leaves me with 2 electricians to deal with.
