| On the EMI website thay have a v2xt Motherboard & Backplane upgrade. Whats a Backplane? I'm not saying i'm going to buy this but i'm looking at my options for upgrading my BeLoved V2XT BMDC. I'm Happy with the Factory CNC Controller but it just won't keep Running Reliable! If its not one thing its another. I will say the shop that had it before me did not have an air filter on it for some time and thay used Flood Coolent and Coolent got into the cabinet also. It did not run when i got it and THEY did not know why. I found that Coolent got into the 5 pin Y axis connector and made a Dead short. Cabinet is Dirty inside , everything covered with a THIN coating of dust, Metal dust, dried coolent , etc..... Thanks Mike |

| A backplane is a motherboard of sorts. In the old Bandit1 I used to run, there were about 8 different cards that plugged into the backplane. The backplane may not have any components on it, just interconnecting circuitry. Chances are an upgrade board may have gold plated pins on it, sometimes originals had just tinned pins which tended to oxidize more frequently due to heat and vibration.
