Hi everyone. I am new to the forum but have been reading posts for a while now. I just starting a Mach3 CNC retrofit on a 1966 step pulley Bridgeport mill that has been sitting in my shop for about 15 years. The mill has Zerk fittings but I want to add a one shot oil system when I get it back from having the table, saddle and knee ground and scraped.
My lubrication system will use a CLA-8 8cc hand pump from Gromax and Bijur metering units for a 9 point lubrication system. I may also add port for the Z-Nut.
I am looking for a dash number recommendation on the metering units. A friend recommend I use -2's but Bijur seems to suggest -1 for the table and saddle and -0 for the knee to column. What is the collective wisdom? Also looking for a good source for the metering units.
Thanks, Craig
