I have a Bridgeport Series II with some remains of a prototrak control. I would like to remove these parts and return it to a manual machine. Does anyone have the X and Y table hardware/Handles for sale from a retrofit they have done? Please respond, Thanx Buddy |

| If it was originally a boss machine, then it never had handles to begin with. I am not even sure is B'port built a manual series 2 at all, but probably someone who knows will chime in. My limited experience with my series 2 is that you wouldn't want to try to run it manually anyhow. There are no gib locks and with ball screws for all axis', it could easily get away from you during manual control. Also, what are you going to do with the quill, there is really no place to even start to install a quill downfeed... Later, Jason |
