Hi All, We have a Interact II with the TNC145 controll and have been searching how to connect it to a pc. I've got TNCremo and server programs but don't seem to have my cableing correct. We've also looked at other dnc programs and none of the cable connections seem to be similar. Anyone else have this control and their successful method of downloading programs to a pc whether with the Heidenhain or other dnc software? THanks, Tim |

| hmc710 I believe that that option is only available on the tnc151 and newer I would ask heidenhain but I think that is the case. To tell you the truth I have a tnc151 and I thought that I would need to hook it up to a pc also but once I was familiar with the control I find it just as easy to stand there and program. |

the 145 is stuck with 2400 baud even parity 1 stop bit. I run with a jumpered cable with no flow control. I used hyperterminal for years. Try first downloading from the control to see if you get the comm at all right, then try uploading to see if the data is formatted correctly |

Thanks Gus. What does the cable pin connection look like. I've tried the one in the manual 25 pin to 25 pin with no luck. Getting no communication errors. And unfortunately, I don't know what a jumpered cable with no flow control looks like. I've got a couple other dnc programs and they use 25 - 9 pin connectors with different wiring. So anything that I could use to make like picture would be great. I don't mind standing there and programming, its the documentation and changes that would be helpful. Thanks! Tim |

Yes, we are trying tncremo to make this work and parameters are set per manual Also looking into hyperterminal and its (for me) learning curve. Last edited by hmc710; 05-13-2008 at 05:17 AM. Reason: hyperterminal |
