I am about to purchase a Boss R2C3 Mill to do a retrofit and I am weighing my options. I am leaning towards an ajaxcnc conversion kit because it appears simple and I am nervous about jumping into the deep end. However, I want to hear what others have done and wouldn't mind saving money or the increased functionality without added cost from EMC2 or Mach3. As a note the machine comes with all the manuals and does run fine however I would like to run true 3d milling and relatively large programs. |

FREE software doesn't get any cheaper. + There is almost always someone on the EMC irc channel 24/7 that can offer help when needed. |
