Unhappy I need to find Erickson toolholders

Hi All, Does anyone know where I can find the toolholders used on a Boss 9 cnc?
I have bought quick change, IMTB 30 from catalogs, ebay, and used dealers.
I have been watching e-bay, auction sites, and internet searches.
I have a pile of holders that do not fit through the spindle ring, do not clamp.
i have 4 holders that fit, and at least 7 that don't
Where can I get some that won't break the bank.
Thanks
Rich

I'm not familiar with the IMTB style. My mill uses NMTB 30 taper tooling and the cheapest place I have found it is through 800watt (seller) on eBay. If you buy from him be very very very patient and don't anticipate a response to any emails at least not on a timely basis. He's notoriously slow but he has eventually managed to ship my orders. Keep in mind it's Chinese and not domestic quality but decent for the price. I bought an er40 quick change setup with with 15 collets and the spindle adapter for under $150 including shipping about a year ago from the guy and several other items since. The only tooling related problem I had was with an albrecht copy chuck and NMTB30 adapter. The chuck was ok but the adapter was tapped for a metric drawbar. All the other NMTB30 stuff had standard threading.

Any of the 30 series taper tool holders will fit your spindle IF you have a machine with a drawbar through the spindle. The worst that can happen is you'll need different drawbars to match the different internal threads in the tool holders.

If you have a BOSS CNC mill, you most likely don't have a hole through the quill for a drawbar. You mention the locking collar, so this seems to be the case. In this case you need the Erickson QC30 brand tool holders, These are 30 taper, but the dimensions of the locking ring are different.

Here's a link to a thread from last year that has a lot of info:

Good luck.

Thanks for the responses, it took a while for me to get back because my laptop died and I still haven't gotten the replacement up so I have to do e-mails at work.
