Hi, I just bought a series 1 cnc a week ago. It looks like it was boss 4, it's serial number is 2 cnc 127. Anyhow, after powering it up for a few hours, something in the original controls went dead, and I lost the display. My intention has been to convert it to PC based control, so it was not a big deal. I started stripping all of the factory controls. I ordered drivers from keling, as well as their c11 BOB. Anyhow, my questions are, first, with a VFD for the spindle, do I need to keep the overload and spindle contactors? Second, does anyone have the wiring diagrams for the switches on the head? Mainly the air actuated brake, and the spindle speed increase/decrease circuit? Thanks in advance. Jason |
