I operate a bridgeport vmc 1000 with Heidenhain TNC 426 control. There is a growling noise in Z axis when in program run and jog mode. The noise is on/off, when it does make noise the safety latch on the doors are locked. I can't get the door open until the noise goes away. The service technician that we call is out on medical leave. I need help on where to start.  |
