Giday folks, joe here from Oz. I have very little experience with cnc and when trying to change the input method (from Heidenhain to ISO) on a Heidenhain TNC 155, I got the following error after restarting. quotes are mine "AXIS4 MEAS. SYSTEM DEFECTIVE A" I cannot get past this error, no buttons on controller work and restarting the machine just gets me back to this message (after the no voltage message and then pressing CE ) Does anybody have any ideas?? cheers  |

| Yes, for some reason your 4 th axis is turned ON and the control is looking for the encoder. Go to MOD, there go through the screens until you see where you can turn the 4th axis off. George
