We are having difficulty loading what don't seem like large programs into our VMC 1000/22. We are using MasterCam 9.1 to generate the programs and the current program that I am having trouble loading is about 16000 lines in length and 261kb in size. Our VMC 1000 is equipped with a DX-32 control. When trying to load though edit, it just goes back to the main menu, with no warnings given and the program does not load. When trying to load through the load menu, we are getting an "ERROR in LOAD CNC" and it will not load. Is there a limit to the size of a single program that can be downloaded? (We are have deleted a number of programs to free up space and are not getting any alarms about a lack of space on the hard drive). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any of the smaller programs (1500 lines or less) still load with out a problem. |

| First of all why not use the floppy to transfer it to the control storage device (hard drive, flash card, disk on a chip, disk on a module). Next, the machine loads a program to run to the memory of the BMDC board which is 256KB. So you will need to DNC. George
