Hi I just took a chance on a Bridgeport. I hope I made the right decision. It looks to be circa 1966. It was one of those quick decisions that`s a part of ebay. Buy it quick or someone else will. I`m a woodworker not a metalworker so what should I look for when I recieve the machine. It went for $1375 delivered. |

| $1375 delivered? I'd say that a pretty good deal, It looks really, really clean for a 1966ish model. I'd check the ways for wear first off and then the spindle bearings. you'll have to power it up to check the spindle for noise (worn out bearings). |

| looks to be in ok shape. In auction pics it looked like someone gave it good presure washer bath before taking pictures. Other than missing few peices(quil handle, x axis lock handle, knee crank, and couple oops's in table) looks like good buy. But first think before using it i would probably give it plenty of way oil to greese ways up. |
