HEY GEORGE!!! my ez trak z axis reads backwards??? down is possitive, up is negative.. any idea what is wrong? software or hardware. The dealer replaced the scale before I bought it. I thought the wires might be backwards OR the scale is on upside down? Before I tried to "fix" it AKA break something I dont know anything about, I thought I would ask you.... E PS I have read many or your replies and been able to fix quite a few things. I want to thank you for those!!! |

| We just replaced a scale on a TRAK and it drove us crazy with alarms that did not make sense (3 axis TRAK) until we realized that the scale was reading backwards. Due to scale mounting and reader head offsets and such, we opted for swapping wires to reverse the count. The dealer should make this right. Or call the scale tech support (if you are good with a soldering iron) and ask which wires to move. George

Thanks a million George... The was driving me nuts. The tech support line at Acu-Rite told me which wires to swap, I opened the plug up, quick bit of delicate soldering and BAM... all done I will continue to read your reports and help others where I can too!! Ed |
