Hello all, We have just purchased a 1991 Bridgeport Interact 421X VMC with a Fanuc OM-F conversational control. I don't have the machine here yet, just wondering if anybody could verify that we will be able to DNC (drip-feed) to this machine. Thanks, Lorne  |

| It entirely depends upon whether or not Bridgport implemented "tape" mode on the machine. If they did, it should be clearly labeled on the operator panel where all of the mode selections (EDIT, MDI, MEM, etc.) are made. If they didn't, you could have it retrofitted. It would require a small ladder modification and the addition of a switch to put the control in tape mode while it is in memory mode.
