TNC 370 communication problem

Hello all and all the best for 2008!

i was hoping someone would be able to help RE setting up and using the TNCRemoNT software with my TNC 370 control..

i have installed and run CRemoNT and have established a connection with the control but when i come to try and tranfer a file/program (*.nc type), all i get is "control already in use".....?

i am fairly sure that it is something simple and i just need to put the control into the correct "mode/status" but how the hell do i do that and which is the right one?

many thanks in advance for any input and sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere already...

not familiar with the 370 per se, but two things come to mind, if you have the file open in the pc it might error, or if you are editing in the tnc perhaps[?]

also try the tnc server[within tncremote] and see if it has the control listed, it might be too old for remote[my 145 is]

i have tried to set up the TNC server, and the 370 control is listed in the options, but cannot get it to work now!?
but it will work with the other i530 that i have.. so i am now at a loss...
everything works as it should with the i530 but will not allow me to transfer to/from the 370( and yes, i have switched configurations etc to suit).

help!
